Vanessa Wagster, MSW; Manager of
Alzcare Level II, New Braunfels, TX
Vanessa began working with Alzcare’s
marketing team in 2002. During her
first year of employment she began
the journey towards completing her
Masters degree at
Texas
State University. Her focus of study was
Caregiver Burden, Alzheimer’s and
related Dementias and psychoanalytic
techniques. During the last year of
graduate school, Vanessa accepted
the position of manager for the
New Braunfels
location. She completed graduate
school earning a Masters in Social
Work, in May 2004.
Vanessa incorporates her skills and
knowledge as a social worker in the
daily lives of the residents by
upholding the resident’s dignity and
worth thus improving quality of
life. Furthermore, Vanessa offers
education and communication training
to family members, as well as the
surrounding community.
Vanessa lives in Seguin with her husband
and daughter Randilyn.
Valerie Corbello, LVN' Staff Nurse of
Alzcare Level II, New Braunfels, TX
Valerie became a nurse in 1980 graduating
from LVN school in Northeast Mississippi
Junior College in Booneville, Mississippi.
She has cared for the geriatric patient
population throughout most of her career and
is an advocate for those with Alzheimer’s
and related Dementia since joining AlzCare
in September 2000.
When
Valerie is not working for AlzCare, she
teaches CPR and First Aid to small groups in
our community and her church. Valerie and
her family reside in the Hill Country and
she has been married for 19 years.
